Course description – This course is designed to certify the student in Pregnancy / Postpartum massage. Topics discussed include anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, complications of pregnancy, benefits of pregnancy and postpartum massage, techniques for these clients, labor support, aromatherapy safe for pregnant clients and relaxation techniques.
The course is offered to Licensed Massage Therapists, RN working in Labor & Delivery, Certified Nurse Midwives, Midwife students, Doulas and massage therapy students with approval of instructor.
32 contact hours of continuing education,
NCBTMB approved. Nursing CEU available.
